Who says that goodbyes are light? I felt them quite heavy but still, the 3-month long fellowship session’s journey finally concluded on Sunday. It was filled with a mix of emotions; there were laughs, some people cried and some were hopeful for their next adventures.

After this, a question needs to be answered which is. “Do you think it is important to connect and do things just for our emotional uplift sometimes, even without a focus on work?” This is a good question. The answer to this is that of course, people are not robots where they have to work day and night and they cannot feel emotions. Events make emotions and those emotions make memories. One will remember the event due to emotions so you cannot take them out of life. Having different emotions affects you because if your happy and positive your productivity will increase and if you are sad you will remember it.

The last session was just about talking and connecting and there was no work to do in that session. Our batch played a game Scavenger Hunt an interesting take on a classic game with an online touch. In the game, riddles were given to us and we have to find the object, take a selfie with it and upload it in the designated folder on Google drive. So there were two teams & each team leader was Ms. Yusra and Ms. Fatima with 23 participants and I was in Ms. Yusra’s team and I can say with great confidence that our team lost Alhamdulillah. LOL🤣😎

The whole game was a great experience. All of us talked, laugh, cried, and shared good memories that happened with our batch in these beautiful 3 months

I plan to keep connected with my fellows on Whatsapp, Facebook group, and other social media platforms. I always believed that you need more years to be friends with anyone but Amal Fellowship busted my view that even in 3 months you can make beautiful memories & friends even on an online platform. I am always available to help my batch with anything I can.

What did I learn from this fellowship which I would like to continue in the future?

That would be two things:

· Gratitude

· Feedback

Amal believes that these two things are gifts that you can give someone and I agree with it because gratitude gives a feeling of fulfillment; it has the positive vibe that is felt by giver and receiver both. It not only helps with fulfillment but also helps to connect with another person on a deeper level.

While feedback in a positive way lightens the receiver and once you appreciate him/her that person is energized to move forward towards his goals

Truly the words have power. It can break or make a person

Thank You Friends & Whole Amal Team for a great time.
