Amal’s fellowship is going to end in a few days and I am sure going to miss it but alas, everything must come to an end. This fellowship lasted for 3 months and it had a very challenging routine because it consisted of courses every week while the weekend had sessions, these sessions were done to discuss what have learned from courses and it also included some fun activities. Although my readers would think “busy on the weekend?” but in truth, I enjoyed those sessions very much even though they were online so everyone tried their best to make those sessions productive and entertaining.

One thing I remember from my first two weeks at Amal academy was the project on “Reflection on fixing things around me”. The reason is that particular project helped me to look around in my room and brainstorm that what places or things in my room needed improvement. It made me realize that the furniture in the room was not productive (even though there were many chairs) and few corners needed some tweaking.

So there was a corner that I felt needed some adjustment. At first, it had a chair where I threw all my clothes on it. I replaced the chair with a table which I had in my storeroom. That table became my laptop table and I get to keep my markers, pages, printer, and laptop in one place. It was due to this project that I was able to come with an idea to make my room’s corner productive otherwise, the thought would have never come to me.

Fixing the spot

So I think the Amal team has some kind of convincing or persuading magic, maybe it’s their courses that can get through you easily or maybe they hypnotized without letting me know, Lol :D.

In this whole journey, I discovered that you should always be positive, and show gratitude to whomever you can and whenever we can. I remember activities that were in my course that were gratitude email or writing gratitude letter both had a rewarding experience for the writer as well as the reader.

Truly the power of gratitude is fulfilling

Amal team and Amal fellows are the major pillars who made my fellowship enjoyable and exciting. It was a collaborative effort from all of us.

So I wish the Amal team and Amal fellows the best of luck for future endeavors.
